Port Eliot Litfest

It's raining so hard today it would be hard not to dream about summer especially getting out to festivals and enjoying some good ole culture. One of the best get togethers in Cornwall is the Port Eliot Lit Fest situated on the banks of of the Tamar estuary just 10 miles west of Plymouth. Held between 21 and 23 July 2006 the weather should be lovely and with the usual eclectic line up this years festival looks a real treat of music, words, film and food. Take your pick from Alex Bellos and his Brazilian band The Chorinhos, John Shuttleworth, Arthur Brown, Sam and Sam Clark the husband and wife team behind the award winning Moro Southern Mediterranean restaurant plus many many more acts.
